Do I Need a Permit to Build a Fence in Ball Ground, GA?

The City of Ball Ground does not require a permit to build a fence on your property. However, Cherokee County has certain requirements and restrictions that must be adhered to when installing a fence.

For example, you cannot install a fence in a public right-of-way. If a fence is within the required residential district setback but adjacent to a public road right-of-way, it cannot exceed six feet in height.
